There were children galore at Mount Arthur’s family day on Saturday.
This is a day organised by BHP Mount Arthur to thank their employees and their families.
Stellar’s local team, Gary Brown, Regional Account Manager and Lucinda Wilton, Labour Hire Coordinator, joined in the fun filled day with a booth and organised highly contested children’s sticker competition. Stellar was invited as a key business partner alongside of other local businesses who support the mine site.
“It was a great success with over 1,000 people at the family day that also included tours of the mine site and wash plant. The Mount Arthur’s open day really involves the employees’ families and enables people to come and see where their loved ones’ work,” said Gary Brown.
The Stellar team named Harper Marco as the winner of the sticker competition, collecting all four pieces of machinery to build her very own mining fleet.
Being passionate locals themselves, the Stellar team really enjoyed being a part of this great family event.
